Genetics

Sire Line

Her sire Cahil is a stallion with an excellent bloodline, that shines in particular with his type and his jumping quality. Last year he collected placings in young horse jumping classes up to M level. His offspring have also shown promising results and one of them have even been approved as a stallions.

The grandsire, Cornet Obolensky, was awarded the title of most successful German jumping horse. Over the last two decades he has had a great impact on the worldwide show jumping scene and has definitely demonstrated his quality as a sire with offspring like Cornet d’Amour, Comme il faut, Cornado I or Clooney.

Clinton took fourth place at the Athens Olympics with Dirk Demeersmann; in addition to Cornet Obolensky, he has sired many other successful international top sport horses including Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN, Clintop, Cordess and Clintissima.

The granddam, Operette III is from the 776 family branch, currently the largest and one of the most successful Holsteiner stems. Her offspring includes Vienna Olympic and Wonka, both with international achievements.

Contender is one of the most influential sons of Calypso II – who was himself an important transmitter of the genetic heritage of Cor de la Bryère. He won the 1987 Adelheidsdorf stallion performance test and went on to be the 1-b main premium vice-champion in Oldenburg, where he spent his first three years before moving to Holstein. An impressive number of his first foals went on to international careers and he continues to produce exciting young stallions like Contendro.

Dam Line

Her dam, Gloria XVIII, is a beautiful Holstein mare with a lot of expression in movement. We initially bought Gloria as a broodmare and after 2 foals decided to start her sport career. So far she has run up to 1.25m and is a very clean and careful mare who always does a good parkour.

The grandsire, Casall, has been the Holsteiner studbook’s poster boy over the past years. Under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, Casall used to be one of the highest-achieving horses on the international show jumping circuit, making the top 25 at all major championships. His offspring stand out for their convincing charm and class, competing high level internationally and having won top prizes at auction sales all over the world.

Caretino, counts among the Holsteiner studbook’s top sires. Through Caletto II, another exceptional breeding stallion, the sire line traces back to once-in-a-century stallion Cor de la Bryère.

Kira VVII, traces back to stem 890, one of the most successful Holsteiner performance mare families.

The granddam Santa was classified up to 135.

Dobel's Cento, earned millions in his international sporting career. His progeny are equally successful in sport and breeding and over 30 of them are successful at 1.50 level.

B-Lionella, was also an athlete and was placed up to 150.
