Sire Line

Her sire, Coronino, was an outstanding stallion with various victories and placings up to advanced level, even with young show jumping beginners. His offspring are very successful in sport (up to S***) and breeding, such as Corina, dam of the stallion Cornet to win at the Schockemöhle station.

The grandsire, Corofino, won many international show jumping competitions under Valerio Sozzi and was also a very successful sire, producing several international stars. Corrado I won the GP Aachen and various World Cup qualifiers under Franke Sloothaak and also produced numerous international winners.

The granddam, Nienburg I, was the 3-year-old reserve champion of her crop and has already produced many state premium mares and sport horses that have won up to advanced (S) level.

Dam Line

Her dam, HRH Alhandra, was one of our TOP breeding mares, from the same dam as HRH Colombardo, she always displayed an athletic profile. With her light movement and style she would impress all.

The grandsire, HRH Pik Ayolo, was a highly sensitive, extremely capable and very rider-oriented dark brown stallion that competed up to 145.

HRH Pik Cayola was an Hanoverian grey mare, by Picard, that showed great results in sport, having competed up to 150.

The granddam Lombarda II, achieved success at advanced level in Germany under Alois Pollmann-Schweckhorst. In Switzerland, she achieved several SI and SII placings as well as victories in Puissances and Six Barres jumping competitions with final heights of over 2 meters. Her first foal was born in Germany, by the thoroughbred Grundyman XX and was later classified in show jumping up to advanced (Sb) level. Two of her foals, Cassily (by Cassini) and Alcagrund (by Alcatraz), became spectacular show jumpers and were successful up to the highest level. Numerous outstanding show jumpers have emerged from the same line, which is cultivated with the greatest attention at Pollmann-Schweckhorst Stud, including the internationally successful Eurocommerce Berlin under Wim Schroeder.

Tafina also produced Lorina GZ with the same sire (Lombard), Swiss Elite Champion in 2002 under Daniel Etter, and achieved several international placings under him. A mating with Lord resulted in the licensed stallion Locarno GZ, who was purchased by Princess Haya of Jordan.
