Gloria is a beautiful Holstein mare, with a lot of expression in her movement. We initially bought Gloria as breeding mare and after 2 foals we decided to initiate her sport career. So far she has competed up to 1,25m and she is showing to be a very clean and careful mare, that always makes a good parcours.

Genetics

Sire Line

Her sire, Casall, has been the Holsteiner studbook’s poster boy over the past years. Under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, Casall used to be one of the highest-achieving horses on the international show jumping circuit, making the top 25 at all major championships. His offspring stand out for their convincing charm and class, competing high level internationally and having won top prizes at auction sales all over the world.

The grandsire, Caretino, counts among the Holsteiner studbook’s top sires. Through Caletto II, another exceptional breeding stallion, the sire line traces back to once-in-a-century stallion Cor de la Bryère.

The granddam, Kira VVII, traces back to stem 890, one of the most successful Holsteiner performance mare families.

Dam Line

Her dam Santa was classified up to 135.

The grandsire, Dobel's Cento, earned millions in his international sporting career. His progeny are equally successful in sport and breeding and over 30 of them are successful at 1.50 level.

Capitol I is the best known name in Holsteins show jumping breeding. Never having competed himself, he sired many outstanding international sport horses and breeding stallions. Viola VI is also sired by Caletto II, which reinforces the Cor de la Bryère line.

The granddam, B-Lionella, was also an athlete and was placed up to 150.

Lord, sired by Ladykiller xx, was himself a successful 3-day horse, having competed up to 140 CIC3*.

Career

Gloria XVIII has competed up to 1,25m and she is showing to be a very clean and careful mare, that always makes a good parkour.

Offspring

Gloria's offspring show a lot of character, posture and expression from a young age. They are both still very young, but we are very excited to see what they become.
