Sire Line

The sire, Count on Me Z, is a Zangersheide stallion that has made a name for himself in both breeding and sport. Ridden by Robinson Maupiler, he achieved international success, including victories in FEI show jumping competitions up to 135 cm.

The grandsire, Comilfo Plus Z, was successful up to 1.45 m with Judy Ann Melchior and Christian Alhmann before retiring in Zangersheide.

Comme Il Faut was internationally successful himself, having competed up to 1.60 m. He is also a great sire, as six of the seven stallions in the first three generations of his pedigree have competed in Grand Prix events themselves.

The granddam, Cha Cha Z, was the mare that gave Judy Ann Melchior her greater successes, including the bronze medal in the world equestrian games in Kentucky in 2010. Her best offspring include Freaky Dancer Z (1,50 m jump) and The Dancer Z (1,40 m jump).

Carthago, by Capitol I, himself competed internationally and with success up to 1,60m. His offspring also showed success in showjumping, dressage and eventing.

Dam Line

Her dam, Ofira von Hof, was only used late in the sport. She impressed with her outstanding jumping ability and her attitude to jumping. After competing up to 1.35m, she began her successful breeding career.

The grandsire Ogano Sitte is a strong-build, well-conformed stallion with an enormous fighting spirit and excellent attitude. Under Dominique Hendrickx, he has achieved international success at 4-star level and won the 1.60 m Grand Prix CSI**** in Naples. Also, over 60 of his offspring have made it into the big sport and impress on the international stage.

Darco won all the major prizes and was seventh in the individual classification at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, making his mark on the international show jumping scene.

The granddam, Cat von Hof is a talented jumping mare, who competed internationally in children's tests with a young rider and achieved classifications up to category R/N130.

Cernunnus von Hof CH, had a brilliant career and successful in Grand Prix nationally and internationally. He was even considered "The jumping miracle from Switzerland" by Hans Britze, the breeding director of the ZfDP (Zuchtverband für Deutsche Pferde). His offspring are also successful at international and Grand Prix level.

Calando II and his offspring are among the best sires in Switzerland, by Cor de la Bryére.

Cleopatra, once the star of our farm, was a beautiful trustworthy mare with a lot of scope. Although she only competed up to 130, the best thing about her was her character. She would never turn down a challenge and it was rare to go to a competition where she wasn’t highly placed, even when ridden by children.
