Sire Line
The sire, Quiwi Dream, was a typical, spirited showjumper, with great jumping ability and quick reflexes. He collected multiple national and international victories and placings up to S**, and his career achieved a particular highlight at the end of 2016, under Pia Reich, with their victory in the U25 World Final in Salzburg.
The grandsire, Quidam de Revel, was a Selle Français stallion by Jalisco B who made a name for himself in competitive sport in the early 1990s under Hervé Godignon and with his performances at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. His offspring include numerous international champions such as Dollar de la Pierre, Quantum and Quaprice Bois Margot.
The granddam, Panam Air, produced the winning stallion of the OS licensing in 2016 when paired with Zinedine. She is a full sister to the licensed stallions Com Air I and Com Air II. In addition to the legendary Contender, her pedigree includes the millionaire sires Landadel, Ramiro and Landgraf I as further guarantees of performance.
Contender is one of the most influential sons of Calypso II, who himself was an important carrier of Cor de la Bryère's genetic heritage. An impressive number of his first foals embarked on international careers, and he continues to produce exciting young stallions such as Contendro.
Dam Line
Her dam, Ofira von Hof, was only used late in the sport. She impressed with her outstanding jumping ability and her attitude to jumping. After competing up to 1.35m, she began her successful breeding career.
The grandsire Ogano Sitte is a strong-build, well-conformed stallion with an enormous fighting spirit and excellent attitude. Under Dominique Hendrickx, he has achieved international success at 4-star level and won the 1.60 m Grand Prix CSI**** in Naples. Also, over 60 of his offspring have made it into the big sport and impress on the international stage.
Darco won all the major prizes and was seventh in the individual classification at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, making his mark on the international show jumping scene.
The granddam, Cat von Hof is a talented jumping mare, who competed internationally in children's tests with a young rider and achieved classifications up to category R/N130.
Cernunnus von Hof CH, had a brilliant career and successful in Grand Prix nationally and internationally. He was even considered "The jumping miracle from Switzerland" by Hans Britze, the breeding director of the ZfDP (Zuchtverband für Deutsche Pferde). His offspring are also successful at international and Grand Prix level.
Calando II and his offspring are among the best sires in Switzerland, by Cor de la Bryére.
Cleopatra, once the star of our farm, was a beautiful trustworthy mare with a lot of scope. Although she only competed up to 130, the best thing about her was her character. She would never turn down a challenge and it was rare to go to a competition where she wasn’t highly placed, even when ridden by children.
